Comparative Muslim Societies Program Statement on Islamaphobia

Tuareg

There is no place for Islamaphobia in this university, or indeed, in American society as a whole.  The Comparative Muslim Societies Program represents a collective of scholars and students who are committed to studying Islam in the world, both in the Muslim world per se (stretching from Morocco to Indonesia), and also in places where Muslims form a distinct minority, including the United States.  This is a community of over one billion people and one that deserves to be accorded the respect that all other people are given.
